✔️ Water rowing machines have always been the preferred option for rowing enthusiasts due to their similarity to outdoor rowing. The gentle swoosh of water in the tank, consistent handle stroke, and smooth seat slide create a sensation of being on the water during a cool morning row.
The combination of timeless frame design and modern technology makes the Flexnest water rower an appealing choice for both seasoned rowers and those new to the sport, who are looking for a challenge. 😅
So let’s dive in and take a closer look at some of the features and specs and who we recommend the Flexnest Flexrower Plus for.

👍 Unlike other rowers that simulate outdoor rowing, Flexnest’s app offers a gamified experience with various digital rides and challenges.
The Flexnest’s design draws inspiration from traditional water rowers with a dual track, low profile, and premium wood finish that adds a touch of sophistication to any living room.
What sets it apart is its interactive gaming options that elevate your rowing workout and make it more engaging.😅
Notably, the Flexnest operates quietly and can be used indoors without disturbing others, unlike air-resistance rowers that produce significant noise.

👍 We take testing exercise equipment seriously. For this review, we spent hours using the Flexnest rower and evaluating its subscription content and features. Our aim is to provide you with an unbiased and comprehensive review that can help you decide if this machine is suitable for your needs.
➡️ As part of our evaluation process, we also compared the Flexnest to other rowers we have on hand, such as the Concept2, and, the Flexnest Magnetic Rowing machine to name a few.
Ideal For:
To people who are looking for engaging content.
This is well suited for people who are competitive who want to jump in compete and play a quick game, so if you’re into that sort of thing this is a great option.
Also, if you are looking for something that kind of has a classic design – it’s very elegant, it looks like a piece of furniture in your home, this is a great option.
It has instructor-led classes. If you want classes that take you out on the water and really give you that feel of professional rowing experience. This is it.
❌ Not Great For:
People who are not looking for a subscription. Flexnest app is designed just to showcase the app content and they charge a monthly fee of Rs 500.
If you can’t pay for it, then you have limited connectivity left to use.
And if you ask? Can I watch tv on the screen, Can I watch Netflix? No, you cannot! But you can use your tablet/ phone to play videos or movies.

😊 While it is a pricier option, the Flexnest rower is worth the investment, and here’s why:
👉 The Flexnest water rower sits directly on the floor without any suspension in its rail system. It can accommodate up to 200 kg of weight and has a lengthy footprint.
It can be stored vertically, though. It’s worth noting that the seat’s top is at a height of 12 inches while the rail sits only 6 inches high.
➡️ Thus, users will need to bend down low to sit on the seat and then stand up from the lower height, which could present a challenge for some users who require more knee and hip flexion.
While the Flexnest rower has many great features, the pedals could be improved. Although the pedals are supportive and big enough for most shoe sizes, they feel quite close together.
Additionally, the strap is one piece that wraps around both pedals’ footboards, which can cause it to shift from side to side, which is not the best design.
Furthermore, the foot pedals are 12” high and only 4” wide, which may be too narrow for larger users.
👉 However, the wooden footboard that supports the pedals is a positive aspect. It is broad, sturdy, and provides the sensation of pushing against the end of a boat.
In general, smaller users will find the pedals to be functional, while larger users may have issues with the width or placement.
The Flexnest – Best Water Rowing Machine In India has several features that make it stand out, including its handle, dual rail system, seat, resistance, and console/controls.
The handle is ergonomically designed to support a specific hand position, which may be a positive or negative aspect depending on personal preference.
The handle prevents shifting of the hands, which ensures proper hand placement, but it may be uncomfortable for those with smaller hands.
The strap is sturdy, but it may fray over time and rub against the sides of the roller.
The dual rail system supports the seat and provides sturdiness, allowing the Flexnest to have a maximum weight capacity of 200 kgs.
The rail system’s 40” inseam length is sufficient for most users, and the seat slides comfortably up to the junction between the pedals and the handle.
The screen is easy to see and is located just above the catch, so you don’t have to lean down to grab the handle or tilt your neck up to see the screen.
The Flexnest water rower seat is contoured for your legs and tailbone, and it’s more cushioned than the Concept2 seat.
One aspect to consider when using the Flexnest Flexrower Pro is that the rail sits only 6 inches high, while the seat’s top is 12 inches high. This means that users must be able to bend low to sit on the seat and then stand up from a lower height.
For some individuals who require more knee and hip flexion, this may pose a challenge.
The scooped-out back section on the seat reduces the likelihood of your tailbone rubbing on the saddle, and the seat slides on four wheels, creating a smooth and controlled feeling through the drive and recovery.
The resistance of the Flexnest rowing machine is based on the strength of each pull and how much water is in the tank. Water is churned through the tank to match your strength, creating perfect resistance for each user.
The nature of the water moving and the noise it creates are the main reasons rowing enthusiasts prefer water rowers.
The sound is actually quite soothing and is not overly loud or disruptive to those around you.
The Flexnest’s user interface is hands down my favourite among all the rowing systems we have in India.
What sets it apart is its instructor-led rowing sessions or videos including the virtual rides, trainer-led LIVE and pre-recorded classes, and competitions.
This feature is brilliant for several reasons.
The Flexnest rowing machine can be stored either horizontally or vertically, but it’s recommended to secure it when stored in a vertical position.
Despite holding a significant amount of water in the tank, the rower is relatively easy to move. Lifting the back of the rail engages the wheels at the front, allowing you to roll it wherever you need it.
However, be careful when lifting it vertically as it can be easily tipped over. It’s important to have enough space around the Flexnest rower when deciding where to place it.
Since you lean back during the drive and finish, make sure there is ample space to the sides and rear of the rower.
Avoid placing the rear of the rower directly against a wall as you’ll need at least two feet of clearance behind the machine.
Overall, it’s an effective and simple way of rowing. However, the only downside is that the speakers are placed on the back of the tablet and aren’t the best quality.
I recommend using your own playlist and headphones while rowing, since none of the games have sounds or feedback that require you to listen through the speakers.
👉 One of the advantages of the Flexnest water rower is its quiet operation. In comparison to air rowers, the Flexnest water rower produces minimal noise. This makes it an excellent choice for people who are concerned about disturbing others while they exercise.
The Flexnest water rower India is an innovative fitness equipment that provides a full-body workout while making the sport of rowing more enjoyable for everyone.
With more than 80% of the muscles in your body engaged during rowing, it’s an effective low-impact exercise that improves both cardiovascular and muscular fitness.😅
👍 Although the Flexnest app subscription costs Rs 500 per month and the rower itself is priced just over Rs 59,999, it’s a worthwhile investment for home gyms and commercial spaces.
The stylish design, quiet rowing noise, and comfortable feel of the machine make it an excellent choice for a home workout.
✔️ Additionally, the subscription content is engaging and impressive, providing various options such as Virtual rows, Interval Training, Trainer led videos, and Challenges.

The Flexrower – Magnetic Resistance
The Flexrower Lite
Flexrower+ : Water Rower
The Flexnest water rower is a type of water rowing machine that uses a water tank and paddles to provide resistance while rowing.
It is designed with a flexible footrest and an adjustable ergonomic seat for maximum comfort during use.
The machine has a sleek and modern design, making it a stylish addition to any home gym.
Here are some key differences between the two:
If you prioritize a more natural and quiet feel, and are willing to pay a higher price and perform regular maintenance, a water rowing machine may be the better choice for you.
If you prioritize intense and adjustable resistance and are looking for a more affordable option, an air rowing machine may be a better fit.
The Flexnest water rower India is easy to assemble and comes with clear instructions and all the necessary tools. It typically takes about 30-45 minutes to assemble, and the process is straightforward and user-friendly.
The actual total weight is 42 kg. The weight capacity of the Flexnest water rower is 200kg, making it suitable for a wide range of users.
The resistance level on the Flexnest water rower can be adjusted by adding or removing water from the water tank.
The more water in the tank, the higher the resistance level, and vice versa.
This allows you to customize your workout to your desired intensity level.
Water rowers can be more expensive than other types of rowing machines because they use a water tank to provide resistance, which requires more complex engineering and construction than other types of resistance systems.
The materials and craftsmanship required to create a durable and reliable water rower can also contribute to the higher cost.
Additionally, water rowers are often seen as a premium product, which can also drive up the price. Despite the higher cost, many people prefer water rowers for their smooth and natural feel and the unique benefits they offer.
Here are some of the key benefits of using a water rower:
The Flexnest water rower comes with a 1-year warranty on the frame and parts.
This is comparable to other brands in the market, and it shows that the manufacturer is confident in the quality and durability of the machine.
Flexrower uses magnetic resistance, and flexrower+ uses water resistance which makes it a more natural outdoor rower.
