Today we're reviewing and talking about the Leeway Fitness Mini Deadlift Jack. I'm going to talk about what I think about these barbell jacks stand, why you would buy one, and if this thing is worth it.
What is this Barbell jack india price? I bought this thing off Amazon for Rs 2000 💸 —so super cheap.
✅ First of all, before I even get into this gym item, why would you buy one of these things?
You buy these for deadlifts, and I’ll show you it working, basically to lift the bar off the ground so that you can load & deload plates with ease while you’re doing deadlifts.
Why would you get one of these small (mini) ones over the big double one?
Well, first of all, the double one is significantly better. Like, it just is. It’s also ginormous—it’s huge. It really is big, and it takes up a big space in your commercial or home gym. If you have a small space, that’s all you have.
For a lot of home gym owners, they’re not feasible unless you have a dedicated deadlift platform. The big ones are just not necessarily feasible to have. They’re also expensive. I mean, much more expensive than this—Rs 12,000 or more.
The reason you get one of these mini deadlift jacks is, yes, they’re not as convenient because you have to do this to both sides to load. However, it’s handy & small.
It’s literally like the size of my forearm. You can put this thing anywhere. It’s flat, you can put it up against the wall, super easy to blend in and get rid of.
So that’s why you got one of these, and it was Rs 2000. That’s affordable to everyone.✅

Let me talk about the construction of this leeway mini deadlift jack in India, and talk about if it even works and if I think it’s worth buying.
❌It does not have plastic/ polyurethane here on its jaws to protect your knurl on your barbell.
Oops… but I can tell you that I haven’t noticed anything on my knurl that would suggest that it’s being worn away from this deadlift jack.
But YES, if you have ceramic-coated bars this might create a problem. Your barbell will lose its finish.
That’s an important thing to consider.
✅ However, if that’s something you’re concerned about on those edges of your barbell—I would probably put some tape in here, I think, just to be extra safe.
Because when I have heavy weights on there, I’m digging into the barbell knurl when I do this.
The construction of this thing is solid. The welds are fine. They’re what I’d expect with Leeway Fitness India.
They’re not bad at all, but I’m sure when you’re talking about a mass-produced product like this, you’re going to get those hit-or-miss issues when you buy something like this off Amazon.
The steel feels really solid. It probably weighs 5 to 8 kgs, so it’s not difficult to carry, but it’s not super light either.
Like, I don’t feel like it’s heavy, but it’s not like a paperweight either. So, super solid, seems like it’s designed well. It’s a barbell jack—what more do you want?
👌 It’s designed to lift the weight up from the floor.
What we’re gonna do to use this is simply put it—I like to put it pretty close, maybe like an inch, almost right up to my sleeve. I don’t put it on the sleeve because I don’t want to put pressure on the sleeve, so I put it maybe an inch or two away.
And you simply lift it up. Once it’s up in the air, check it out—you can load super easy. Load up weights, stick them on. When you’re done, put it down, do the other side.
I always say if you need to, put a barbell clamp on there, but you do the other side, and that’s it. Literally takes a second.
Let me just keep this down here for a second while I talk.
So that’s it—that’s how quick it works.
There are free ways—as you all know, loading weight on your barbell while you’re deadlifting sucks. It really does. It’s not fun because it’s on the ground, and you gotta pick it up, and the weights don’t match.
Especially if you’re throwing on 25 kg iron plates—obviously, putting on change plates and stuff is super easy, but anything beyond that sucks.
There are a few free ways to do it.
For example, people will recommend taking a 2.5 kg change plate, sticking it under the main 25—I only have 25s on here—and lifting it up. This does work.
However, the problem with this method, even though it seems free and super easy, is that every time I roll this and slide it onto the plate, it never is flush with my sleeve on the back end. It always rolls off just like a centimetre, and that really bothers me.
So I was never thrilled with this change in my method. It does work, and it’s an okay method—it’s much better than picking it up, and it is free. But I was never satisfied with it, and I didn’t think that it was as quick as it could be.
So I decided, you know what, for less than Rs 2000—I’m gonna give this mini deadlift jack a try.
After using this for probably 1 month now, I will 100% say go buy this thing. It is so worth it.
It is so simple to use. I really feel like it saves me a bunch of time, even versus the change plate when changing my weights.
It’s a super good buy. I don’t really have anything negative to say about it. It doesn’t feel like the best thing in the world, but for Rs 2000, it does its job really well.
It’s super small and super light, and it just kind of hides away. It just does its job—it lifts my weights up, and that’s it.😘
If you deadlift on the ground and you’re changing weights and you can’t afford a double one, one of these mini deadlift jacks is the 100% way to go.
If you want to, you can even buy two of them to do both sides at the same time, which is an option. I know some people like to do that. I just chose to do it with small ones.
It literally just takes 5 seconds to unload and do the other side. I had to walk around to do the other side anyway, so I didn’t really need two.
So if any of you guys have used this, I’d love to hear what you think of it.
If any of you have used any other jacks, what do you think of them?
✅ They’re totally worth it. It’s worth getting a jack for deadlifts if you do deadlifts consistently.
And even if you don’t do them consistently, for Rs 2000, this is worth it.💸
Just being able to get a cheap one that functions, and does something useful in the gym makes it a super worthwhile purchase.
I’m not keen on telling people to buy something, but if you are doing deadlifts, get a jack. You’re not beating this price.
So those are my thoughts on the product.
