Today, I’d like to share my opinion on the UltraCare Massage Gun ๐ช with you โ the Highest Rated & Most Affordable Massage Gun for ๐โโ๏ธ Deep Tissue Relaxation.
So, if youโre the type of person whoโs always ๐ฃ sore, or needs to go get a ๐โโ๏ธ massage from a therapist, or does a lot of ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ mobility work โ I think this could be a lot more beneficial for you.

There are a couple of components to the UltraCare Massage Gun, as well as some other things I want to discuss in general when it comes to tools like this.
So, in basics, what is it? ๐ค
Itโs a percussive massager, kind of a better way around than going to a ๐งโโ๏ธ foam roller, a ๐ lacrosse ball, or a therapist.
It saves you โฑ๏ธ time and effort โ you can do it at home โ and their goal is to make it more affordable than some of the other options out there.
Now, speaking of some of the other options, I think the most popular brand out there is the Theragun or Hypervolt. And I donโt know if itโs really popular for the right reasons โ mostly people see it because it looks very similar to this in design and really how it works โ but it can cost you several thousand.
So, UltraCare Massage Gun, what they set out to do was make something more affordable, and I think theyโve been able to do that.
Iโll talk about that a little bit, as well as about using it by yourself on sore muscles, which is something a lot of people tend to do with tools like this.

What is in the box?

It feels very sturdy with the ergonomic, round, rubberised handle and grip โ, so you can maintain good control as you’re reaching behind your back or even across your body.
And the quality control doesn’t stop there โ it goes down even to the base of this massage gun, where you’ll find the on/off touch button and the charging port ๐.
It’s a touch switch, and it uses a 24-volt power supply โก to recharge the unit.
It takes about two hours โฑ๏ธ to fully charge this lithium battery ๐ that’s inside the handle, but it gives you a surprising fourโfive hours of continuous use.
That’s one of the longest-lasting massage gun charges that I’ve seen in a while โณ, and it could last you for weeks if you use this massage gun for just a few minutes a day.
Where I find them most beneficial for me is if Iโm feeling extremely sore or tight ๐ฃ โ which for me tends to be in my quads , glutes ๐, and right here in my pec and delt area.
Iโll use these massage guns a little bit before warming up and lifting ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ, but otherwise, I donโt find a huge use for them in my own particular training.
It seems to be a very hot area in fitness and training where a lot of people are using these, and I think for good reason ๐.
A lot of people do see benefit from using these versus going to an actual massage place ๐โโ๏ธ or having your significant other or training partner do it.
In some cases, itโs a cheap, easy way that pays for itself in just a few short sessions โ depending on whether you find that type of stuff beneficial.
Based on the market being oversaturated ๐, one of the benefits of that is that prices tend to come down.
Initially, when a lot of these guns first came out โ like Theragun and Hypervolt โ they were (and still are in some cases) Rs 20000 or Rs 30,000.
There are, of course, cheap knock-offs you can find on Amazon and Flipkart for under Rs 1000.
And I think the UltraCare massage gun for Rs 1,232 (inclusive of taxes) is kind of that nice medium โ not going to break the bank, but also not going to be a complete piece of crap that breaks within a year.
These things feel very solid and high quality โ and you can tell from this one. Having owned it for like days, itโs still in phenomenal shape.
All the heads are in phenomenal shape too โ I havenโt had any issues with this particular gun.
So it’s quite RELIABLE.

This massage gun basically comes with 4 different SILICONE massage heads, and these heads all connect right to the gun.
In fact, they possibly can connect to many different massage guns, too, which they sell on their website.
โ๏ธ So, letโs discuss these heads. But before we do, we kind of need to know the purpose of these attachments.
There are variations of these 4 attachments โ the Bullet, U head, Ball, and Flat round.

Of course, you can use the attachments however you want, but with a little thought, you can use the right one for the fastest results.
โ So, letโs break down each piece one at a time.

Youโll see this attachment on almost every massage gun out there โ itโs very popular. It’s also called Fork Head.
I like this one because itโs useful for large muscle groups like the quads, hamstrings, and glutes. I feel like it provides the most coverage with pinpointed force using the two prongs of the fork. This attachment is basically like having two bullet heads side by side โ giving you more coverage for faster work and recovery on larger muscle groups.
However, one area I donโt recommend using the fork attachment is along the spine.
For some reason, people think itโs designed to go between the spinal muscles since it fits that shape. But I donโt recommend that. The spinous processes (the bony parts of the spine) can easily get hit if youโre off by even a centimetre or two โ and that really hurts.
In fact, any hard plastic attachment against bone isnโt going to feel good. So, avoid using the fork (or any hard head) directly over the vertebrae or other bony areas.

Now, the bullet attachment is one of the most useful heads because itโs great for pinpointing specific areas and performing deep tissue work.
That said, itโs not my go-to attachment for everything. Itโs not ideal for sensitive areas like the forearms or shoulders, but itโs excellent for the legs and back muscles.
You can use it along one side of the spine โ just avoid the center (the spinous processes), as hitting those wonโt feel great.
Anywhere you need a deep tissue massage โ like the top of the knee, quads, or glutes โ the bullet head works really well.

The best thing about this attachment is that it allows for graded control โ meaning you can easily adjust the intensity by changing the angle at which it contacts the skin.
Because the ball is round, it feels the same regardless of which side touches your body. But the force changes depending on the direction of the pressure. For example, if you use it at a slight angle, it mimics a cross-friction massage.
This head is great for sensitive areas where you might not want full pressure โ like the foot, shoulder, or forearm.
Itโs a simple way to lower intensity while still getting a good massage.

This oneโs used for medium to large muscle groups.
I like the flat round attachment because its flat surface distributes the force more evenly, which helps on bulky muscles like the calves or biceps.
It doesnโt go as deep as the bullet head, which makes it great for sore or sensitive areas. The flat surface spreads out the percussion force, making it gentler on muscles like the deltoids, biceps, and calves.
If youโre sore but still want effective recovery, this is your go-to attachment.
Tell me which attachment is your favourite or go-to?

Putting the design aside, letโs talk about performance.
If youโve tried the UltraCare massage gun โ it performs well, with a couple of adaptations that you may actually prefer.
First off, the ๐ battery is larger. Itโs built into the handle and now comes with its own charging adapter port, unlike the other massage guns, which used a USB-C port.
The good news is that this battery can be used for up to 5 hours, and it gets fully charged in about 2 hours.
Some of the stats say you can use this for 10 minutes a day for a full month without recharging it โ thatโs how good the battery is!
Youโre really going to enjoy being able to use this as much as you want with very few charges.
Aside from the battery, the revolutions per minute (or pulses per minute) are definitely on par with the UltraPro model.
This has 6 intensity settings that produce anywhere from 3,000 to 3,200 pulses per minute, which is plenty of power ๐ฅ to relieve any muscle soreness.
I did notice that this one packs a larger punch, but it really isnโt the deciding factor for me when using a massage gun โ because I generally use it at about level 2 or 3 intensity.
So, youโre not going to have any power issue โ just know this one packs a slightly bigger punch.
Now, the performance factor that ranks highest in my book is sound.
โ Honestly, Iโm not surprised โ this is made with high-quality components.ย
And it comes in under 60 decibels at the loudest setting, which is comparable to a normal conversation. Itโs not going to drive you or others crazy if youโre trying to watch TV ๐บ or use it in the gym.
So, it is relatively quiet.
As you increase the intensity level, the sound of the motor increases โ but itโs not drowning out sound like a machine gun or anything.
Itโs relatively quiet for the size and power ๐ช.

Now that being said โ even though it is affordable ๐ฐ โ letโs talk about whether I actually use this and if I think you should use it.
I think for something like this, when it comes to what Iโd consider mobility work ๐งโโ๏ธ, it really boils down to you and what you find useful.
Personally, Iโve cut out almost all mobility work. In fact, Iโve cut out all the foam rolling. I havenโt used my foam roller in years.
So that being said โ even though I think this thing can be useful for some people โ for me, itโs not one of those things that I see as a huge benefit to my training currently.
Now, if youโre the type of person whoโs always sore ๐ฃ, or needs to go get a massage from a therapist, or does a lot of mobility work โ I think this could be a lot more beneficial for you.
Itโs affordable, so you donโt have to pay to see a therapist (which takes up time ๐), and itโs a lot easier to do.
You basically point, pull the trigger, and youโre done.

But in the end, what Iโd say is โ if youโre the type of person who is usually sore, especially in your legs ๐ฆต, and that inhibits you from training or decreases your motivation to train ๐๏ธ โ this could be a great tool for you.
Itโs affordable, you can go ahead and work out some leg tightness really quickly before you squat ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ, or use it as a recovery tool โ whatever the case may be โ and youโre not spending much money.
More than likely, itโll help you in that regard.
Thereโs no shortage of massage guns online, but donโt take my word for it โ you can see the โญ five-star reviews for UltraPro massage guns on Amazon.

Thatโs because people agree that these massage guns are high-quality and perform very well for their price.
Most UltraCare massage guns cost under โน5000, but this comes in at โน1,232 ๐ธ
I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family.
๐ For the money, this is very hard to beat.
It gives you higher-end features at a more affordable cost.
Hopefully โ thatโs my opinion on the UltraCare Massage Gun – “Best massage gun in India” if youโre in the market or looking for a massage gun.
